The Active Lincolnshire Sport & Physical Activity Awards are your opportunity to recognise the dedication, passion and impact of those who are helping Lincolnshire residents to live healthier and happier lives. From dedicated volunteers and inspiring coaches to inclusive clubs and individuals overcoming challenges through movement and sport, the awards are all about celebrating the remarkable people creating positive change in their communities.

Our 2026 awards are presented in partnership with Lincolnshire Community Foundation, helping to shine an even brighter spotlight on the organisations, groups and individuals creating opportunities for everyone to get moving.

This year’s awards feature nine categories, offering plenty of opportunities to celebrate the brilliant work happening across Lincolnshire. Returning favourites include the Active Club Award, Unsung Hero Award and Active Change Award. We've also introduced two new categories for 2026: the Community Champion Award and the Active Skills Award.

The Community Champion Award recognises an individual or group that has made a significant and lasting impact by inspiring, supporting and improving access to sport or physical activity within their community.

The Active Skills Award celebrates an individual, programme or initiative that has successfully developed skills, confidence and participation in sport or physical activity.

Nominations for this year's awards are open until 31st July. The categories are:

Finalists will be chosen by an independent panel of judges and invited to a heart-warming awards ceremony in November where each category winner will be announced. All finalists receive two complimentary tickets to the event.
