Active Lincolnshire is committed to providing opportunities for everyone in Lincolnshire to be active every day. We work with partners to address inequalities and inactivity, responding to the needs of people and places.

What we do

As advocates for the positive power that physical activity has on everyone’s lives, we work in partnership to improve understanding, influence change, and tackle the challenge of inactivity.

    Training & Courses

    ReEngage is a free digital platform, designed to follow on from ReActivate and provide the sector’s workforce with the skills and knowledge to confidently engage with people across all communities, helping them to access the benefits of sport and physical activity.

    You don’t need to have completed ReActivate training to sign up for ReEngage.Funded by Sport England, commissioned by CIMSPA and delivered by a consortium of partners led by Future Active Workforce CIC, ReEngage builds on the success of ReActivate to support the sector as we recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.

    Club Matters has a great selection of online modules for Sports Clubs, dealing with subjects from finance to marketing strategies.

    The Open University’s Open Learn has a range of free courses in its Health, Sports and Psychology category.

    Coach Learning Framework: Great Coaching, Great Experiences

    UK Coaching, along with over 80 coaching experts from around the world, examined the foundations that make up a high-quality coaching environment that is packed with great learning experiences.

    The result: the Coach Learning Framework.

    It's made up of nine themes that can be used as a framework to help all levels of coaches learn how to deliver great coaching experiences for all, regardless of the sport or physical activity that you coach.

    Funding Opportunities for Clubs & Coaches

    ReTrain to ReTain

    As part of their Great Coaching Comeback campaign, UK Coaching in partnership with CIMSPA and EMDUK has launched a new initiative ReTrain to ReTain, funded by Sport England.

    The fully-funded scheme aims to provide skills, training and targeted support for 25,000 volunteer coaches, as well as 25,000 sport and activity professionals, who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
