New job opportunities to support active lives in Boston District

We’ve created four new roles to help drive the successful delivery of our Sport England Place investment in Boston District.

The new positions will play a vital role in delivering locally-led change across Boston, with a focus on responding to community priorities, building strong local relationships and creating opportunities for long-term, system-wide impact that makes it easier for people to be physically active.

We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team and work closely with partners, stakeholders and communities across Boston District to co-create sustainable solutions that address inequalities and enable more people to live active, healthier lives.

The roles are:

Head of Place (Boston)

The Head of Place will lead and oversee the effective delivery of Sport England place investment in the Boston District. You will manage programme delivery and budgets, lead the Boston place partnership, and work with partners and colleagues to deliver measurable reductions in inequality and support more active lives.

Development Manager X 2

These roles will lead and deliver complex development projects within the Boston place programme. You will work closely with local partners, community assets, parks, open spaces and activity providers to build capacity, respond to community need and create more sustainable opportunities for people to be active.

Community Connector

The Community Connector (Boston) will be visible and present across local communities, groups and networks. You will build trusted relationships, understand local needs, connect people and organisations to wider opportunities, and help identify community champions who can support the Boston place programme. With a good understanding of Boston you'll spend your time meeting people, listening to communities, building trust and helping connect people with opportunities that make a difference.
