About us

Our 2025 Award Shortlist

Celebrating local champions

Our annual awards awards recognise the positive impact physical activity has on people’s lives, and celebrate those who actively contribute to the health and wellbeing of Lincolnshire residents.

This year, we received nearly 400 nominations across the nine categories in the Lincolnshire Sport & Physical Activity Awards. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate. We've been truly impressed and inspired by the fantastic activities taking place, and the remarkable individuals working or volunteering to help more Lincolnshire residents get active. Our team has carefully reviewed every nomination, and we’re delighted to share the shortlist for each award category. The shortlisted entries were selected for best meeting the criteria for each award and standing out for their impact, innovation, and commitment.

The shortlist will now be passed on to our independent panel of judges, who face the tough task of selecting three finalists and a winner for each category. Finalists will be announced in early September, and we’ll reveal the deserving winners at our sparkling community awards ceremony at the Engine Shed, Lincoln on Thursday 6 November.
