Lincolnshire Sport & Physical Activity Network
The Lincolnshire Sport & Physical Activity Network (LSPAN) is your opportunity to come together and connect with other people who are involved with delivering sport or physical activity in Lincolnshire - whether that is as part of a sports club, community group, organisation or as an individual coach or instructor. If you work or volunteer in sport or physical activity across Lincolnshire, join the group for free to get support and guidance and connect with others with a shared passion and purpose. We'll provide useful information to help strengthen your work and share what's working well across the county.

Help to engage with and be inclusive to ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
Many people from ethnically diverse backgrounds face barriers to getting active, including experiences of discrimination, limited opportunities and a lack of representation. These challenges contribute to lower participation levels and fewer people from diverse communities taking on leadership or committee roles within sport.
Improving inclusion helps ensure that everyone has a fair chance to be involved, enjoy positive experiences and benefit from being active. Small actions can make a big difference, such as using clear and welcoming language, listening to community feedback and working with local community groups. These steps can help remove barriers and encourage more people to get involved.
Take a look at the links on this page to explore useful resources, tips, insight and training, to help your club or organisation create an environment where people from all backgrounds feel welcomed, respected and supported.
