About us

Active Lincolnshire is committed to providing opportunities for everyone in Lincolnshire to be active every day. We work with partners to address inequalities and inactivity, responding to the needs of people and places.

Our Work

As advocates for the positive power that physical activity has on everyone’s lives, we work in partnership to improve understanding, influence change, and tackle the challenge of inactivity.

Safeguarding & Welfare Training Fund

Supporting clubs and physical activity providers to access safeguarding and welfare training.

Our new Safeguarding & Welfare Training Fund provides funding to affiliated and non-affiliated sports clubs and physical activity providers throughout Lincolnshire to support their development of robust safeguarding and welfare practices through a multi-stage training pathway.

The training fund offers up to £475 for each club on selected training courses including a variety of short UK Coaching courses, sport specific training requirements, first aid training and NSPCC training packages. Individuals will be able to progress along the training fund pathway (shown below).

This fund has been created as part of our commitment to supporting the sport & physical activity sector in Lincolnshire with Safeguarding and Welfare guidance, training and resources. Find out more about our work in Safeguarding here.

We have limited allocations available for this funding. If you or your club are interested in accessing this offer, please follow the link below to complete the expression of interest form. Deadline for expression of interest is Friday 19th September.
