The Award Ceremony
The Lincolnshire Sport and Physical Activity Awards is an opportunity for us to come together and recognise, celebrate and say thank you to that person, organisation, club or volunteer who has had a positive impact through their commitment to sport and physical activity.
Join us to celebrate our amazing finalists and winners for 2025 at this sparkling community celebration.
The Award Ceremony
The Award Ceremony will be held at the Engine Shed, Lincoln, on Thursday 6th November. The evening will begin with a drinks reception from 6pm, with the awards ceremony starting at 7pm.
During the evening, we will be recognising all our our deserving finalists, and announcing the winners of each of our award categories.
This year there are 9 categories, each recognising the positive impact physical activity has had on people’s lives. Plus, new for this year is the People's Choice Award - voted for by you! If you haven't voted yet, you have until 31 October to select your three favourite finalists! Find out more and vote.
We'll be revealing the winner of this award at the end of the ceremony!
Our Presenters
We are pleased to welcome back BBC Lincolnshire presenter and sports journalist Rob Makepeace as a presenter this year. Joining him is writer and storyteller for systems change, Tanya Akrofi whose work helps people and places honour the stories that connect us.
Our Finalists
This year’s finalists showcase a variety of inspiring projects, achievements, and personal stories. From individuals using sport and physical activity to transform their own lives, to clubs and organisations dedicated to opening up more opportunities to be active across the county.
