The Events and Engagement Lead will have responsibility for the delivery of Active Lincolnshire’s engagement and networking events, including the annual Sport and Physical Activity Awards, and they will work with physical activity providers and clubs to create listings on the Let's Move Lincolnshire digital activity finder.
You will be part of a dynamic communications team, supporting the organisation with our important role of engagement with partners. This role will support Active Lincolnshire and our partners in achieving our vision of breaking down barriers to physical activity and tackling inequalities to enable more people to be more active more often.
The role has the following core purpose:
- Deliver the flagship Lincolnshire Sport and Physical Activity Awards and our other engagement events.
- Organise, plan, deliver and evaluate the impact of all events.
- Attend networking events on behalf of Active Lincolnshire as required.
- Maintain up to date databases and contacts connecting providers into the work of Active Lincolnshire.
- Promote the free online Activity Finder and support onboarding of sessions and providers to the platform.
The role will report to the Director of Communications. You will need to be a team player and able to support the organisations priorities through leading on our events and engagement.
Reward Package:
- £25,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave, plus all bank holidays and 3 days during the Christmas week (Total c.36 days per annum).
