The last two years have been isolating for many people, with clubs, communal spaces and community events closed due to the pandemic. As we move beyond it, Let’s Move Lincolnshire will bring communities together again through physical activity, strengthening and building on local assets and opportunities – like village halls and playing fields.
We’ll nurture new connections, sharing what’s happening locally so communication and engagement are effective in reaching all of our residents. We’ll also be drawing out community influencers to highlight positive developments, and providing an empowering environment where local people can feel inspired, take ownership and lead change.
Key priorities include creating efficient and effective systems of promotion and communication, providing opportunities to suit a diverse audience, and creating family activities with appropriate, accessible transport links.
