Elite Athlete Programme
Lincolnshire's Elite Athlete Programme provides valuable support, guidance and advice, as well as financial donations to help athletes achieve their dreams.
Active Lincolnshire coordinates the Lincolnshire Elite Athlete Programme (LEAP), providing established and emerging athletes with advice, guidance and training opportunities specific to their individual needs. Over the years, LEAP has supported a wide range of local athletes, with some going on to achieve national and international success. Through our partnership with the Adam Gibbons Sports Foundation (AGSF), we also help athletes secure financial donations to cover the costs of training, equipment and travel.
Becoming a professional athlete is never an overnight achievement – it takes years of training and commitment. That’s why our Elite Athlete Programme offers ongoing guidance and funding, as well as connecting athletes with additional financial and training opportunities from our wide range of local partners.

Adam Gibbons Sports Foundation
AGSF was set up in memory of Adam who suffered a brain haemorrhage at 19 years old. He was passionate about sport and the foundation helps many talented young people to reach their dreams.
