Pre & Post-Natal Insight Workshop

Monday 6 December 2021, 1.30pm - 4.30pm

Hear the up-to-date insight on Pre and Post-natal physical activity levels, perceptions and barriers across Lincolnshire at our Insights Workshop this December.

Active Lincolnshire, in partnership with Better Births Lincolnshire, One You Lincolnshire, Public Health Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire County Council are working together to integrate physical activity into the pre-and post-natal journey, providing women with the knowledge and confidence they require to be/remain active during this time and to increase the availability of suitable activities.

Active Lincolnshire have commissioned Social Change to develop a piece of research and insight to provide an understanding into:

  • physical activity levels in pregnant women both during pregnancy and in the first 12 months postpartum,
  • the perceptions and barriers for being physically active during these times focussing on the following groups; women going through pregnancy, maternity care professionals and those working in the sport, physical activity and fitness sector.

Following on from the research stage, we would like to invite you to attend a session to hear the up to date insight on Pre and Post-natal physical activity levels, perceptions and barriers.
