Our free Active Bystander training delivered by NWG Network and their Safeguarding in Sport Team will allow you to better understand and become more confident at safely and effectively intervening in harmful situations and challenge conversations that are not comfortable e.g. “locker room” culture and dealing with opposition coaches and parents.
For Organisations Supporting Club & Providers - 9.30am - 4.30pm
For National Governing Bodies, Local Authority, Leisure Centres and those who work with clubs and activity providers and can pass safeguarding knowledge on to them.

- False consensus, societal norms and sport cultures.
- How do we keep children safe in sport?
- What more can we do to keep children safe in sport?
- What strategies can we use to tackle discrimination/microaggressions in sport?
- Intervention options and implementing transformative conversations
For Clubs & Providers - 6 - 7.30pm
For Sports and Activity Clubs - any committee member, club staff, coaches and welfare officers and club volunteers.
